How do you spell the word 'give'?
It's spelled as ... c-o-m-p-a-s-s-i-o-n.
When you give, it simply means that you ---
--- clearly see, can understand, can relate, do sympathize, do care, do love -- the other
.....who may not be as bright, as well-positioned, as educated, as rich, as healthy, as well-dressed, or as beautiful as you are.
You give because you see the other person's need to receive.
And you respond as God responds.
Giving straight from the heart..... is the blueprint of GIVE... and of giving.
Short and beautiful post.
ReplyDelete"It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving."
Dear Ellen ,
ReplyDeleteYou spell it correctly..:)
Giving is an experience of joy ,charity, love, caring, sharing, peace and what not..it takes us out of ourselves..In giving away yourself, you open a conduit for the kind of happiness that no one can ever steal from you..:)
Thank a lot Ellen for the post ..:)
Have a wonderful Day ..keep smiling :)
Cheers

Hi Ellen,
ReplyDeleteVery well composed one!

Thanks for the post Ellen..Keep expressing..
Pramoda
Ellen,
ReplyDeleteTrue. It has to be from heart and without any consideration of what is there in return. It is not necessary to give material things but even giving your time can make someone happy.
Take care
This is a beautiful one, Pram --

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Blessings to you and your family.
So true -- "It is not necessary to give material things but even giving your time can make someone happy." Yet we often mistakenly think that giving has to be done in a huge manner or drama or in a grander scale using up all our talents, energy, resources. Nope, it doesn't have to be that way. It's the small sometimes perceived insignificant ways of giving which have the power to create happiness in another person's life or day. :-) It really does.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this visit, Jack.
Best regards -- you and the family.
Though difficult at times.....giving gives us a truthful feeling of contentment.
ReplyDeleteAnd you posts always give us wisdom.
Thanks. Keep Smiling!

hi Ellen,
ReplyDeletekumusta ka na?? i know! its been a while... ang ganda naman nito, lagi naman ako dumadalaw dito, hindi lang ako nakakapag-iwan ng comments, kasi marami rin akong na-miss, lol, di ko alam kung saan ako mag-start..heheh.
so true ano, tulad ng sinabi hindi naman kelangan material things palagi, sabi nga nung mom-in-law ko tuwing holiday season, "pls u guys, don't buy anything for me", let's just spend time with each other, that's what matters most"..
ang problema, hindi sila magkasundo ng anak nya na asawa ko, its hard..hayan napakwento na tuloy ako...kasi para silang aso't pusa, walang biro, and seriously, its RARE na di sila nagtatalo...haaayy..any advice??lol
sorry mag-emote ba dito sa blog mo? LOL
THANKS SO MUCH Ellen, God bless your kind heart for all your super amazing posts :)
have a fabulous day :)
Hello there, Gratitude!
ReplyDeleteAy salamat!akala ko talaga nakalimutan mo na ko. Lol! :-) Pero mag-iwan ka naman kahit isang maliit na hello. Just to let me know you were here. :-)
Lungkot naman na hindi sila magkasundo. Pero palagay ko that goes back a long way... Baka sa childhood pa nya. Get your cue from her own words... " let's just spend time with each other, that's what matters most.." Baka feel nya na 'neglected' siya. Baka may nangyari sa kanila noon. There must be some reason. kasi yung mga unresolved issues ay di talaga nawawala hanggat walang solusyon. It will kick-in at different times through the years lalo na pag may trigger. Andun pa kasi sa puso ang matinding emosyun. Nasubukan mo na bang kausapin ang asawa mo ng malumanay? Tanungin kung ano ang dahilan ganun silang mag-ina?
There isn't an overnight solution to that. It might take awhile for wounds to heal. But it's worth a try. Ipag-pray natin. Walang imposible kay God. Believe and trust God to do what's best for everybody. Just believe.
Blessings to you and yours, my friend. See you around okay? and often this time I hope. Lols!!
