I like it when people are so nice. But when i come across unpleasant characters, it makes me think.... What has happened to make that person the way he is --to others, to life, to the world, to himself.

Nothing ever happens without reason. It could be a long or short story but there is a story to be found in that person. In every one of us, in fact. We've come to this point of our lives pushed by events, experiences, decisions, and the often called 'things beyond our control' stuff.

I believe this to be true... -- "Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle."

Life spares no one. Even the strongest or the richest man on earth is up against something or someone. So then understand, look kindly at him, try to see beyond what you see. You'll find that he is just like you and me... fighting his battles too.

  1. Yes,very true indeed.Unplesantness to others is a measure of man's inadequacies, tensions he is paasing through or just plain jealousy. But none of these justify bad behaviour.Looking kindly at such errant man is well nigh difficult.Atbest I will ignore him.

  2. Hi Ellen,

  7. Ellen,

We all have our battles to fight, big or small. So we should not be rude to someone if he or she does not live upto our expectations. If we can not help someone let us not harm him or her.

    Take care

  8. Well spoken, Jack. Words which come from the kindness of the heart. You are that person, my friend. Take care too.. and God bless you and your family.
