"The beauty you  see around you is a reflection of the person you are.
The good you find in others is in you too."
-- (Unknown)

To a dear friend who thinks that she's good for nothing and yet has this wonderful ability to see beauty in mother nature, in the innocence of a newborn baby's smile, in the soothing sounds of song, in the gentleness of another person's heart....   I say this holds up a mirror to who you are. Be blessed and stay blessed. God sees the beauty in you.

  1. Ellen,

Visiting after a long time and so many posts to read. I need to come back later to do justice. If you have visited my blog, you would know the reason for my absence.

    Take care

    1. Yes I know. So pleased to know that you are now on your way to recovery. Rest well, Jack. Take things easy. Enjoy your day, dear friend. God bless you!

  2. Blessings...
What you see is what you are?
    Interesting perspective...
    certainly something to ponder.

    1. I think, if I still remember it correctly, a friend said that it has something to do with how you respond to what you see. It involves the interplay of one's mind and heart which as a result defines your choices or preferences. That which you gravitate to or towards is who you are.

Yes, it's an interesting one, isn't it? When you get some new insights on the subject, do please share. See you soon. Thanks for dropping by.

:-) Here's where I warmly welcome you and where you leave your footprints behind with fond memories attached to it of wonderful chats and friendships. Thank you for your comments. Or send your comments to Will be seeing you in your blog too. God bless you!
