We are used to looking at the bad side of things that whatever does not meet our expectations are quickly thrown into the ‘will not work’ bin. And definitely we’ve accumulated piles and piles of those ‘will not work’ reasons and have changed bins several times through the years. I don’t know where we got that myopic view of looking at life and living but it sure does not do anything for us at all - Albeit lots of amazingly good opportunities are lost in that manner.

The thing is that something which we may have categorized ‘not plausible’ will just might have one teeny-weeny cause in there which might work to its favor and perhaps turn things around if given the chance -- Unless of course we’ve exhausted our search inside out and satisfyingly proved to ourselves that the case is downright hopeless -- Then and only then should that be bulldozed out of our life. But yes, that would be the exception rather than the rule.

Do you know what keeps scientists, inventors, businessmen et al do their respective tasks a thousand times over – doggedly going back to the drawing boards when stumped with an obstacle, flaw, or hurdle? They keep searching for that one good reason that will tell them that it will work! The things which we are enjoying now from that unflagging effort definitely tell us that they found it. Who’s telling us now that we can’t do the same??

"Forget about all the reasons why something may not work.
You only need to find one good reason why it will."
- Dr. Robert Anthony

  1. New background color?makes me wondering if transitions are going on maybe?

  2. So you noticed. :-)Yes, in a way - part of moving on. Events, experiences, people, colors, and what else the world is made of. lol! I feel a gentle nudge.. like God wanting me to do something but which I know not.. yet. So am trying to figure it all out and so these diverse efforts relevant or not which some may see or may not see nor notice at all. The whole point of the exercise is to follow that 'gentle nudge'. But the writing still continues here of course. :-) It's my life's passion. lol!

Thanks for dropping by; glad you did. Hope you're having a pleasant weekend. Blessings to you!

  3. You are right Ellen!
Just to get to the point where you have an "EUREKA" feeling sometimes take a lot of time and patience, and holding to the last straw of patience is very important.

I guess its true for both professional and personal reasons, but i am sure many end up giving up the ordeal when they are about to reach there as the darkness of not achieveing that moment is overpowering that the patience turns black and disappears in the middle of the night.

    Loved your post Ellen!

  4. You got that right on target, Aditi. Beautifully said. I guess the lesson we all have to learn is to keep on hammering at it and being even more patient where it's hardest to.

    Love it when you're here.
Thank you for your lovely message.
Blessings to you and your family.

i don't know, how will i reciprocate my gratitudes?
    thank YOU very much!

  6. Thanks for your wishes for Malen. How wonderful to have friends like you who care.

Oh don't be upset when things don't go your way. Just give it a rest and come back to it another day. You will discover that sometimes you have to distance yourself from things that bother you to be able to see better and clearly. Try looking at it from a different perspective or angle, perhaps you will see something which you may have not noticed before. Something you may have missed and which could be the solution you've been looking for after all.

You'll be just fine, Amit. Maybe tired lols but fine. Regards to your family. Blessings to everybody. :-)

  7. Hey Ellen!

How are you doing? It's been a long time since I been here.

Yup, persistence is something that you should never get fed up with. Sometimes though, we also need to take a teeny weeny break to make sure we are not going around in circles. A proper methodological approach to any dream and goal is in fact a dire neccessity.

These are things I know. But sometimes , I just keep looking deeper instead of going sideways. I guess its better to go deeper than to not go anywhere!

  8. Hi mohammed,
